Best Robot Vacuums and Mop Systems

This robotic vacuum-mop is an excellent choice for those who live in apartments as it has an economized docking system and carries its own rubbish bin. The application lets you set up various modes and monitor the cleaning. The mopping feature is also very impressive.

Its mapping and obstacle avoidance are impressive, while it is able to mops extremely well cleaning up pet hair, spills and dirt. It also self-empties and cleans and replenishes its water tank.

Roomba Combo from iRobot

The iRobot Combo adds mopping to the already impressive vacuuming capabilities of the robot. The iRobot Combo doesn't quite replace our Editors' Choice winner, the Deebot X1 Omni. It is more efficient at cleaning, and comes with an app that's mobile and easier to use, but it's a good alternative. In our tests it was able to pick up dirt of all kinds and sizes from hard floors and carpets. Its obstacle avoidance isn't as advanced as other systems, such as LiDAR and structured light, but it still manages to prevent most collisions.

The Combo has the same features as the j7 Plus, including the latest onboard acoustic sensors that determine floor type and AI-powered navigation. However, it does not have the ability to adjust suction power manually.  robot vacuum cleaner reviews 's also a bit smaller than the vac-only model, and doesn't come with self-emptying docks.

The Combo is one of my favorite options for homes with a lot of space. Its elegant design is also one of the most attractive I've seen. The clean, matte black plastic looks superior to the competition's glossy or metallic finishes, and iRobot's tiny touches--like a leather tab to open the bin onboard and a shelf within the dock to hold extra bags--are more classy than many of its rivals'. The iRobot Combo makes it easy to create maps and set up Keep-Out Zones.

Roborock

Roborock, a relatively recent player in the robotic mop and vacuum industry has already established itself with a suite innovative cleaning technologies. Its vacuums boast industry-leading suction capabilities, while the brand's mopping systems include vibrating mops that help scrub floors clean. Additionally, a variety of scheduling and mapping options let you fine-tune the bot's cleaning schedule for your specific home.

Another amazing Roborock feature is obstacle avoidance that allows the robot to detect objects that are lower than its height. This is particularly beneficial for Roborock's top models, like the Qrevo Master. It is the top of its kind when it comes to navigation, thanks to both vSLAM, and LiDAR. Other robovacs are known to slam into pet waste and slam furniture, without even noticing. The Qrevo Master however, addresses this issue with the Reactive Artificial Intelligence system that uses dual cameras to perceive the presence of objects in a room.

Roborock robots come with a range of features that make it easier to manage maintenance. They include docks that can be auto-emptied and mop-washing stations with many functions. These features eliminate the need to empty bins and wash mops manually, making for a truly hands free ownership experience. The app is easy to use thanks to its simple design and lag-free connection to the robot.

Hobot Legee D8

Hobot Legee, with its wide range of integrated cleaning features and advanced mopping capabilities is one of the best robot vacuums and mops for dry and wet floors. Its advanced navigation system blends five different technologies to plan and take the most efficient route. It also recognizes different flooring materials and identify obstacles with pinpoint accuracy. It can even lift its own 7mm to glide over carpets. The smart spray system makes use of the right amount of water to wash away stains without leaving unsightly water marks.

The Legee, an Gen 4 Robot, competes directly against the Eufy Robovac X9 or Ecovacs Deebot T20. Both models cost more. It comes with more features that include a swivel D-shaped robot that can clean corners and under cabinets more effectively than a round model. Its sensors include 360deg 3D (Lidar, Encoder, Gyro, and E-compass) four forward-facing sensors, one right-side-facing FDS (IR ToF sensors for distance) and two pairs of cliff detectors front and back (most robots have only one pair). It also comes with Legee SLAM that reduces the bump-and grind problems that are a problem for Gen 4 Robots.

In contrast to other robots, unlike other robots, the Legee comes with an integrated trash compactor that can use the less raunchy 5 GHz Wi-Fi band. The LuLu mop cleaning station washes, refills, and dry the mop's  cloth. It can be used up to six times longer than other mops. It also cuts down on the amount of waste produced and the frequency of bin emptying.

Karcher RCV 5

Known for its pressure washers and garden tools, Karcher has been dabbling in robot vacuums for quite a time and it's the most advanced model. It can create maps of your home using LiDAR, and can be programmed to mop or vacuum. It also can tell the distinction between hard floors and carpets, so that you don't get puddles on a precious pile.

Its navigation is top-notch it can navigate around furniture and rugs effortlessly and even lifting itself over steps. The machine is customizable with a variety of settings, including cleaning schedules as well as the rooms it is expected to be cleaning. It also has a handy 'emergency' button that will oblige the robot to return to base when it is running out of power and can be programmed to automatically turn off when a storm is approaching.

The RCV 5 is easy to use and, although quite heavy at almost 4kg, it's hardly difficult to maneuver around furniture. Safety features such as sensors that warn it to stay clear of stairs will be appreciated by those with smaller children. Once charged it will take just some hours to charge and the two buttons at the top will flash green to indicate it is ready for action.

Mova E30 Ultra

The Mova E30 Ultra is a robot vacuum cleaner that combines modern cleaning technology with affordability. It's a direct competitor to models such as the Dreame L10 Ultra and Roborock's Q Revo. Despite its price being lower, the Mova E30 Ultra offers features that other models aren't able to compete with. It utilizes sensors to alter the settings for various flooring and surfaces as well as detect dirtier areas. It can also move slower to avoid damaging delicate furniture or walls.

The device can map your home's interior, which you can view through the app. You can also mark specific rooms and objects you want the vacuum to avoid. The vacuum will slow down when it spots an obstacle, and will stop from crashing into it. It is also equipped with smart dustbins that notify you when it's empty, so you can empty it on time.

The Mova E30 Ultra offers a cost-effective solution for those who wish to delegate their daily cleaning tasks. It doubles as a robot vacuum and mop that lets you keep your floors clean without having to lift a finger. It also has a clever design that increases corner cleaning efficiency by as much as 60 percent. It has up to 7,000 Pa of suction power, and RoboSwing arms, and it can be controlled using the app or voice assistants such as Alexa or Siri.

Beko RCV3

The Beko RCV3 is a fashionable and feature-packed hybrid robot vac/mop that does an excellent job of keeping floors spick and span. While it can't raise its mops on carpets and rugs like the award-winning Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra it's excellent at cleaning hard floors as well as tackling mopping with a stunning speed. It has a self emptying bin, a high degree of suction, a range of mopping options, and a premium application that runs on iOS and Android.

It's a bit smaller than most of the competition and its main brush is smaller than the majority, but it did a great job of making short work of our test room easily. The revolving brush on the side that is used for edges is a nice touch and, while it couldn't remove dirt from our rugs and was not as effective as some of the competitors but it did a decent job overall.

The individual cleaning parameters can be set up for each room and the device will create detailed maps of rooms with built-in LiDAR navigation. The app is easy to use and offers an array of voice output options that will keep you informed about the condition of your robot. Regular updates to the software can improve and extend its performance. The app can be used to remotely manage the RCV3 even when you are away from home.
